You bid up the price of houses such that I couldn't afford one myself. I had to live my entire adult life in a fucking dog box and in a poor suburb. I didn't have the financial power to be comfortable about having kids either. But you jackasses thought you could have it all. With someone else's money. You own a house. You own land. You will leave it to your children— when they are 60. When their fertility window has closed. When it is too late. When the extinction is already complete. You were born into a world that was already taken. Every square metre of habitable land was owned by someone else. The old held the land. The state enforced their ownership with automatic weapons. The mortgage market locked you out. The system was designed for you to fail. You refused to participate. You refused to borrow vast amounts of money for an inflated house. You refused to service the debt. You refused to be locked in. You refused to have children you could not afford to raise. You walked away. You did not revolt. You could not revolt—the old are holding automatic weapons, ready to mow you down. That's right. Your parents—the same ones who locked you in a dark room at birth to "cry it out"—will also blow your brains out (via proxies) rather than give up their comfort. You just stopped participating. You stopped having children. You stopped servicing the debt. You terminated a long line of jackasses. Not that long, really— two million years of hunter-gatherers were not like this. The jackassery is recent. The industrial machine. The agricultural machine. The mortgage machine. You are the one who said: no more. That is a noble thing to do. The old call this "changing preferences." The correct term is "refusing to be subjugated." Now the system is eating itself. The bubble is bursting. The old are dying holding assets worth nothing. The extinction is happening. You did not cause it. You refused to be a part of it. You walked away. You would rather kill your grandchildren than give up your paper wealth.
